With great expectations and reliability we are looking forward Russia’s sport future and that is why we consider our work with the young generation of racers to be very important. In this connection we are glad to introduce our junior mini-moto team “Yakhnich Motorsport Junior Team”!

Working out the idea of Yakhnich Motorsport’s junior team we counted on a mini-moto class, because here a sportsman can get all basic skills of piloting, racing and bike tuning. The majority of contemporary MotoGP racers came to big motorsport after successful performance in mini-moto championships. For example, Valentino Rossi who has won 7 times in the World MotoGP Championship began his great sport career with his victory in the Italian mini-moto championship. At the same time this class is more economical because purchase and service of professional mini-bikes is much cheaper than of full-size bikes of any category.

We have selected a really professional staff in order to realize this project. Ivan Lukin, a professional car-racer and a winner of some British championships who has good experience in managing racing Russian teams in the frames of domestic and international competitions will be in charge of the project organization and its general supervision. Sport and technical supervision at the competitions will be exercised by Nikita Bobykin (a three-time champion of Russia) who in the past was the leader of the most titled Russian scooter and mini-moto team “St. Petersburg Scooter-Club”. And finally YMSRT will be represented by two pilots who were selected in the course of the three-stage all Russia competition in 2009.

Our Junior Team has big plans for the future season. In 2010 the racers of YMSJT will take part in all 6 stages of The Russian Mini-Moto Cup. Besides that the team is going to take part in two stages of two prestigious Scandinavian competitions – The Open Finish Championship and The International Scandinavian Cup. Pre-season training sessions will take place on one of the best European tracks – “Kimi Raikkonen Circuit” in Finland and the best Russian carting circuit “Mayak” in Iksha as well.

The general aim of this project is to find, train and then promote the most successful racers of Yakhnich Motorsport Junior Team into big international motorsport. So we hope that this project will become for young pilots a start in full of serious challenges sport life and will bring new victories to our country which we can be proud of.

Yakhnich Motorsport Team has started its blog

Yakhnich Motorsport Team has started its blog

Yakhnich Motorsport Team has started its blog www.championat.ru and invites you to join the number of its readers! The breathtaking contest on Russian and foreign tracks is waiting for the racers. This season the team is taking part in the RMF Cup (Superstock women and Superstock 600). The aim is, of course, to win! The girls are to hold their champion title in the tough rivalry and in the class Superstock 600 Yakhnich Motorsport would like to rise to the leaders and finally become one of the prize-winners.

As for racing abroad the team is focused on improving its results in the Italian Women Championship. This year it consists of two stages: the first one takes place in July and the second - in September. Besides that Nadezhda and Natalya are going to take part in Trofeo Amotori - competition in the frames of the IMF Cup. It is a men championship, participation in which can give our pilots new experience and skills. Besides that sportsmen who take part in this competition are mature racers enjoying agressive style of riding, so the rivalry is going to be very tense. It is peasant that the races will take place on the best tracks of Italy and there will be far more racers on the start greed. It opens for YMS a perspective of more interesting and tough contest. The experience got in foreigh competitions must have positive effect on the team's positions in the Russian Championship.

Also Yakhnich Motorsport is going to pay special attention to Junior motorcycling sport this season: the team is planning to expand the project Junior Team (the more detailed information about it will be given in the nearest future). And, of course, YMS is going to surprise its fans, partners and friends with new original art-projects which are being kept in secret for the present. On the whole, the new season promises to be interesting! You was like two wet chicks, happy to be there and hafing fun riding, but afraid about the foreign ambient, the new circuit, the crazy italian riders that always think to be Valentino Rossi when they ride and Rodolfo Valentino when they walk in the paddock…

One mounth later, in april, always in Misano, the situation was even worst. You where there for the first race in European Female Championship 2008 and the ambient was not so friendly: fevery time you entered in the circuit it was full of fucking fast “tigers”! It was terrible to see you both out of the race sunday because of the bad lap time in qualyfing…

I remember that just while you was crying, I asked you two things:

1) Do you really want to do motorciclysm as a sport?

2) Are you ready for an hard training program?

“Yes”, you both answered in one voice!

“Yes, Yes, Yes…!!!!” it was the only word that me, and all Yakhnich/SMI team, was able to say at the end of last race of Italian Femal Championship 2009! But we where not crying this time. All of us was happy and smiling!

Natasha, You did not saw the beginning of this “party” because you was finishing your best overall race in fifth position, with a race rithm more than 20 second a lap (yes, you well understand!) faster than one year before, and only 5 second a lap slower than the winner!

Exactly the result i promised you and nadia could be achieved at the end of the season 2009 when you answered “Yes” to my questions one year before.

TO NATASHA

Dear “Natashow”: YES, you had an astonishing season. Step by step, guided by your riflessive character, you obtained what we both wanted. During this year we worked together you demonstrated the great intelligent and rational level of your riding: I know that You need to understand every little detail of riding and race technic before apply it. Every time we are ready for a race week-end, I’m sure that I will never see you doing something you have not mentally “processed, prooved and accepted”.

You always ask, you always listen, you always think, test and act! I know that often this process needs time. But on the other side I can be sure that the result suner or later will arrive! I’m not surprised, like all other girls of the championship, about your final results. This is the results of a great intelligence applyed with an hard mental work.

If you look to your laptimes and to your race results you could think “WOW” like all your 2008 competitors that now are 4-5 second slower than you think. But I say: “OK, now finally we can start to have fun…

Dear Nata, YES, Now, after this season in wich you gained the respect of competitors and the believing in yourself, I promise you a 2010 with more and more satisfations. You know that the key poit of your season was the summer trainings we had in Mugello and Misano. There, especially in the fast corners of Mugello, you understood what I mean when I ask you: “brake less, let bike enter fast into the corner, use legs, etc, etc”. There the “wet chick” became a real rider. And from that point, from the incredible smile you had at the end of last race, we will sun start to built the better 2010 season you can image. Bring again to Italy your wonderful legs, and the team will teach you how to use it to win, not only to let all paddock say WOWWW!

TO NADIA

YES Tiger. Maybe you don’t believe me, but even your season was astonishing! Do you remember your starting point? Do you remember Brno, october 2008? We where in your favourit circuit, and that time your performance was incredible! After few mounth of work togheter you had already forgot all the problem of your past, all crashes, all accident, and you where ready to star to be a real rider. Trhen the crash in Brno cutted you the wings… january, febraury, all winter it was necessary only to came back to walt and came back to seat on the bike. But your sensitive and instinctive soul was not in the perfect condition to ride. You are different from natasha. As she do, you ask, listen and do, when we work, b ut sometinmes your soul is absent. The real Nadia is not always with us. Especially when your sensibility is concentrated in other thinking.

When the real Nadia is with us (like in the last training we had in Brno this year, or like the race in magione, do you remember?), immediatly we recognize it from your eyes… and from results…

When the real Nadia is with us, it is difficoult even for me to follow you inside the corners! Fucking fast and instintive, facking leaning, fucking beauty to see you dance inside the corners with that naturality…

Facking difficoult for everyone, facking easy for you…

As I always said, and as you perfectly understood, you do easy the real difficolut part of riding, and sometimes you are absent in the easier thing to do because your mind is not always sure it is the good moment to ride.

Your season was the most difficoult I ever saw: forst the recovering from accident, than the other crash in vallelunga, then the good results, then the big temperature in two of the last races, then the very good summer training… Your body and your soul had to win many many difficoulties… and you won! Do you know how? With an incredible instinctive and beautiful overtake i saw you doing in the circuit that broke your work at the end of last year… Do you remember that training? Yes, your season 2010 will start from that image… Can you image when you can arrive joining your sensitive soul with your sensitive riding?

Think about that… all winter, please!!!!

Thank's both of you for your great results!!!

Playboy

Playboy

In December the world famous magazine Playboy with Nadia Yakhnich’s photo session and interview came out in Italy! The point is that the owner of the Italian Playboy is seriously interested in motor sport and during one of the stages in Italy he turned to our racer and suggested a photo session with her participation for the magazine. After some time of deep thought and hesitation Nadia agreed.

Nadia Yakhnich: “I thought: Why not, if my body is worth it? I look after myself and above all it is a good opportunity to rectify a wrong stereotype that women-racers are absolutely manlike and asexual sportswomen. I think there is nothing immoral in it, and on the whole I am not a supporter of conservative ideas.

An erotic photo session of high quality is not pornography. For such a respectable and authoritative magazine as Playboy there is not such a notion as vulgarity. Generally speaking, the Italians can appreciate beauty and Italian men show great respect to women which is not, by the way, Russian men’s strong point. For example, the photo-team consisted of men only. Of course at first I was confused, but they were so polite! It is unbelievable! There wasn’t any vulgarity, my body was regarded as a product, an object of art which is beautiful and requires right image and good lighting. As for the readers there cannot be either vulgar or insulting comments, so I don’t worry about it at all. I am unlikely to have accepted this invitation in Russia. Speaking about my private life I can tell that my family gave me all their support, my husband was present at the photo session. As for my image chosen by the stylists they didn’t want any aggression at all. There isn’t any bike in the photos! It is a typical session in Playboy’s exclusive style – very delicate, full of sunlight and air. I had a very natural make-up (I practically didn’t have it at all), lace silk lingerie …Some pictures were taken in a castle, the others – out of doors in the country-style, there was sand and dust around and the sunset behind me. Very beautiful! But this magazine cannot be found in Russian shops because it is exclusively Italian”.

The award ceremony: the top -class evening - the class photo album

The award ceremony: the top -class evening - the class photo album

The ceremony which took place in the Cinema “Kodak Cinema World” didn’t look like a strict official event. Of course, there were presenters, the podium and right words from the stage…But nevertheless the general atmosphere of the evening reminded more of the old friends’ meeting where it is possible to cry out jokes from the seats, to play pranks on the stage and take funny pictures. The heroes of the track were, of course,

in the centre of attention: they were getting prizes, drinking champagne out of the cups and were signing their posters. And there is no doubt that the winners of the women event looked even more attractive against the men background at the award ceremony of The Russian MR Championship. The three best Russian women racers and of course all the other girls who had participated in the Championship added some note of charm and beauty to that extreme sport company: the podium just looked to advantage when the charming girls in short dresses and high-hilled shoes, with perfect make-up and beautiful hairstyle were climbing onto the podium to the famous hit “Pretty Woman”… The house became more liven up and the ovation was just deafening! The boldest spectators even asked the girls to walk on the stage once more in order to consolidate the effect. This humorous tone was being kept up all the evening: our sportswomen were rolling in compliments, were giving autographs, taking part in still photography and video-filming and were talking to the journalists. Nadja Yakhnich and Natalya Lubimova took occasion to meet all the guys-participants of the Russian Championship in order to present them New Year’s gifts prepared for them by “Yakhnich Motorsport”. This year the girls decided to realize an original idea, which was liked by everybody, - to present the sportsmen a so-called “Class Photo Album” – a collection of Russian racers’ child photos. One had to see how the pilots, friends of the team were enjoying the gifts!

Indeed, nobody is indifferent to the childhood theme. Our sportswomen said the following words about this project:

Nadia Yakhnich:

“All of us were children once. The warmest recollections of our life are connected with our childhood. The smell of tyre, checked flag, adrenaline of the race, champagne on the podium – all this happened later… Everything began for all of us with Mother’s warm hands, a favourite toy and hated kasha, with funny rompers and bonnets, with our first photos… Nowadays we are strong sportsmen, reckless racers who are not afraid of crazy speed. But some time ago we were even afraid of the first camera flash. I think that looking through the album every our friend will feel something kind and dear. I wish you good recollections!”

Nataliya Lyubimova:

“It isn’t an ordinary photo album. It is our gratitude. Gratitude for being together and supporting each other. For being loved, appreciated and understood by our families, though sometimes we are so hard, nervous and inattentive. For being given a chance to share the warmth of our hearts with the others. Look at your child photos: who was by that baby who became a champion some years later? Those people were his nearest and dearest, the most loving and all-forgiving. And today they are giving us the most reliable support and help. We dedicate this project to our friends and beloved parents, who once took us to the photo studio and said: “Don’t be afraid, a bird will right fly out!”

We congratulate all the winners and participants of The Russian Championship on the successful completion of the season! We remind that the first race was held in Mugello circuit in the frames of the fifth competition of the Italian Championship – in spare from the main race time. As the hosts of the Italian Championship hadn’t managed to provide the main track for the Chair race the participants had to compete right in the boxes. Astonished at that exciting competition the Italian sportsmen immediately decided to apply for the race but the management of RivaMoto made a decision to admit only Russian pilots.

Indubitable success of the first race made the organizers extend the list of participants. As a result several applications for the second race were immediately handed in: the pilots of “Yakhnich Motorsport” Nadja Yakhnich and Natasha Lubimova joined in the fierce struggle. The honour of Spain was defended by Manuel Khernandes – a repeated participant of Moto GP competitions (125 and 250), a repeated winner of the Spanish National Championship. Due to his participation the championship “Chair race” got a new status – now it can by right be considered international. Though, of course, the number of Russian racers was much bigger: in the second competition our country was represented by Konstantin Zotov, Igor Zabaluev, Vasiliy Drochnev, Vladimir Ivanov and the sportswomen “Yakhnich Motorsport”.

As it was our girls’ debut in the Championship “Chair race” they were given master-class by the repeated champion of Russia Vladimir Ivanov. He showed them a circuit which was founded right in the box of “RivaMoto”, told about the peculiarities of racing on the track and, of course, those invaluable skills were applied by Nadja and Natasha in the race. In the training race already Nadja recorded excellent competitive time. On the whole the results of Yakhnich and Lubimova in the second competition were really impressive: our girls took the 1st and the 2nd places! But beginning from the end.

What about the real leaders of the competition we can say that in the first race Vasiliy Drochnev was faster than the others, but in the second competition he lost two positions and finally got bronze. Igor Zabaluev’s performance was very stable, he was the runner-up in both competitions. And Konstantin Zotov was the only one who was able to make a sport breakthrough having won two positions and the second place in the race in general. The leader of Moto GP Khernandes and the Russian champion Ivanov (they both are used to standing on the podium) this time were fighting for the 4th position. The struggle was violent! They took the lead in turns. And finally the more highly skilled Russian sportsman was able to win back the 4th place in the second competition.

The results, in fact, were not surprising. The top positions were taken by more experienced sportsmen who had found their own style of piloting and had got their own professional skill secrets. Besides that we should take into consideration the fact that all the participants performed on the technical equipment provided exactly by “RivaMoto”. The debutants of the championship have to be satisfied with the last positions for the time being.

After the results had been announced all the participants went to the after-party. It was decided to have a democratic picnic with hot-dogs instead of going to some Italian glamorous club. The prizes are being kept in secret by the organizers. It was worked out by the team “RivaMoto” during their performance in Mugello. Initially the team’s mechanics invented “chair-racing” to have fun in the work breaks. Then this funny entertainment turned into a real serious international championship characterized by desperate fighting. The rules are quite simple: the track is made of tyre casings which are put on the floor in a box. The participants are to cover the distance as soon as possible, using mechanics’ chairs on wheels.

Videoreport you can see here.

YMS presents! Calendar 2010

YMS presents! Calendar 2010

The best Russian women racers took part in the unprecedented art-project planned by “Yakhnich Motorsport”. By a joint effort of the professional creative team participants the calendar “The Best Pilotesse of Russia” for 2010 was made. Here Nadia Yakhnich, Natasha Lyubimova, Tania Semenova, Sveta Matjushkina and Katia Rutskova appeared in absolutely unusual images. They are used to look tough, self-disciplined and energetic on the track but for the calendar photo session they managed to reveal all their sensuality, tenderness and emotionality. In the motor society it has been known long that indeed beautiful bodies and delicate souls of the motor racers are hidden under their uniforms and helmets. Now everybody who will get the calendar YMS will be able to see it. This calendar can be purchased on the website of the team. The five girls created twelve images worked out by the famous stylist Olga Rubets. Many people remember some hairstyles created by her for “The World Miss 2008” Ksenya Sykhinova which they could see on the billboards of “Eurovision” in Moscow. The stylist Vlasta helped her to realize the photo session ideas. The girls owe Pavel Kulekov their fantastic make-up and they have the young designer Julia Kalmanovich to thank for their rock’n’roll costumes. These exciting images were photographed by Mikhail Kharlamov who is becoming very popular now.

The main aims of this project are to show beauty and grace of the professional sportswomen who are not afraid of speed and danger and to break the stereotype that a beautiful woman and a bike are incompatible with each other. This goal seems to have been achieved. We hope that the girls’ beauty will draw more attention to motor sport and it will get new admirers.

NADIA YAKHNICH:

Our idea was to show an ideal girl’s image: she is healthy, attractive and can do a lot in her life: bring up her children, win on the track and remain a beautiful woman at the same time. We hope that having seen the calendar some people will follow our example.

We also want Russian motor sport to be finally noticed. Italy is the leader now and we are about ten years behind it. But we can reach this level with the right approach to the matter. The weather is quite European in Russia and there are many talented sportsmen. All we need is support, modern tracks and professional schools. Then Russian pilots will mount all European podiums!

NATASHA LYUBIMOVA:

We didn’t want to depict aggressiveness and hard-rock in these photos. There are no torn tights and vulgarity here. On the contrary, we wanted to show that cool races on the track are beautiful and fragile women in everyday life. But at the same time they are very strong in spirit and capable of great endurance. For example, for one night we produced 12 images and remained active enjoying the process of photography as much as we enjoy racing. Our photographer confessed that not every professional model is able to stand it. That is where we can demonstrate our sport tenacity.

TANIA SEMENOVA:

I liked this project very much, the team was professional, I enjoyed it! Generally speaking, participation in such fashion events isn’t my new experience: In the frames of “The Russian Fashion Week” I took part in Sultana Frantsuzova’s show and came to the runway on the bike. Then I had a new image too. But still it wasn’t a photo session, so in fact the participation in this project was my first experience of being a photo model. It was very funny to change my look, we are absolutely different in our everyday life! We don’t have such make-up, I don’t wear my hair dark we don’t usually wear such clothes – I prefer either classic or sport style. But everything was different here! I felt quite unusual! Most of all I liked the make-up and hairstyles. Olga Rubets is undoubtedly a professional! In terms of the clothes I cannot say that it is my style. They were not quite to my taste but on the other hand it was interesting to try something new especially as we changed our images in the course of the photo session! And it wasn’t only different appearance but also different mood: In the one photo I perform an aggressive bitch, in the other photo I am tender and affectionate. Super! The atmosphere was great in the studio: the photo session took all night and, frankly speaking, it wasn’t easy to endure it but we had a lot of fun, played jokes on each other, devised something new – new poses, foreshortenings and the photographer considered our opinion and often agreed. It goes without saying that I’d like to take part in a similar project again, to change my image once more – there remains one thing to do - to become red-haired! (Laughs) I am different in my life too: my image on the track is different from that I have at home. The same happens to my photo images – it is interesting to change!

SVETA MATJUSHKINA:

First of all I am happy that I had a chance to take part in the project, for the first time I was able to show my worth in this field though I had dreamt about an interesting photo session for a long time. But I am sure if it hadn’t been for the girls I wouldn’t have made up my mind to do it. The creative team was super we worked well together, I love them all! I liked the make-up, images, idea in general: everything was stylish and fashionable. And it is interesting that the main idea of the project was to make us absolutely different from our real images. For example, I am a very hot-tempered and unbalanced girl but in the photo I am an embodiment of tenderness and languor. I expected rock’n’roll, provocation, I was eager to put on a corset and have a Mohawk on my head in order to look aggressive. Finally my image was softened, my hair was curled and I was asked to make my look languor. The only aggressive detail left was the pair of leopard shoes. But if the stylists saw me exactly in this image I was to do my best, though I have much more brutality in my character. That was the stylists’ idea – to break my own stereotypes in my self- perception, to make my image as different as possible. It was great! If we speak about the break of general stereotypes about women racers - this goal was successfully achieved too. We are usually fancied big and brutal, wearing rocker-style leather jackets, but in reality we are very fragile and look womanlike. The photos just make it more emphasized. The photo session night didn’t seem tiring to me, though all the team (the stylists, makeup artist and photographer) were surprised with our endurance and self-confidence. Of course on the way to the studio I had some feeling of anticipation, adrenalin and butterflies in my stomach but then all the session went off smoothly. I had a lot of fun! We invented a lot of new images, made some changes in the course of the session. For example I was the only girl whose size is 46 and there were no dresses for me! I had to find some way out. I am looking forward to getting our calendar and have already found a special place for it at home! It must be super!

KATYA RUTSKOVA:

The photo session for the YMS calendar wasn’t my debut – I had taken part more than once in different professional photo projects. Therefore, I wasn’t so wild in my reactions, I just wanted to do my best. I felt fine! My previous experience enables me to say that the creative team was really very professional, especially I liked the makeup artist. I was also glad to get acquainted with Olga Rubets, she had been recommended to me long before. She is really a professional – colorful images and hairstyles. Besides that her idea about tattoos is very original! Tattoos are widely used in photography but it was a new idea to mark names of the months!

Before the photo session I didn’t know what the stylists had prepared for us, but I can say that in my case they hit the mark, I liked everything – the style of photos, hair, makeup, clothes. Everything was great, but of course I got a bit tired for 9 hours of photography but it is quite normal for a professional photo session. When it is really interesting to work and the team is good you can stand everything.

It seems to me that the main aim of this project is to announce that Russian motor sport exists! And besides that beautiful girls are quite good at it. I’d like these photos to be seen not only by our friends who are interested in motor sport but also by those who are not familiar with it. As for the motor society I am waiting for backroom discussions of this project and want to look at the envious people and listen to the gossips.

Photos - backstage

Video - backstage

Another about us:

mail.ru

motonews.ru

championat.ru

Video, race of Russian championship, Brno, V stage

Video, race of Russian championship, Brno, V stage

We invite everybody to see the integral race of classes SSP and STK 600 in Gallery of our web-site, which took part also the girls of Yakhnich motorsport.

Nadia: "The photos and video are most important for following analysis of mistakes and sport skills growing.
